To strengthen research capacity of technical Universities in India for different aerospace programs to support “The Make in India” and “The Skill India” Initiative towards nationally agreed development goals.
Project Strategy/ Listing of Project Activities:
PS1.1 Conducting survey and awareness campaign among engineering students and faculty members in Universities across India. Appointing two Technical Leads (Volunteer Positions) per engineering school for smooth operation of intended program.
PS1.2 Initiating fund raise campaign to sustain this model at least for three consecutive years followed by identifying funding agencies. Programme planning and necessary approval from head of technical institutions.
PS1.3 Convening a working group meeting by Tzar Aerospace Research Labs in collaboration with different Universities on the harmonization of development indicators to exchange programme experiences and the development of common methodologies and classifications for the collection of data.
PS1.4 Establishing the connectivity of experts in aerospace technology-related to promote the sharing of information among experts in their respective fields, access to information on websites and exchange of best practices reports. Promoting exchanges of experts between design offices to encourage the implementation of common methodologies and facilitate exchanges of information on airworthiness standards.
PS1.5 Organizing training workshops for students / staffs of design offices to improve the technical capabilities in the collection of technical statistics, market statistics and in user-producer relationships.
PS1.6 Organizing intra-regional study tours to draw on the strengths and achievements of the other design offices in the APAC or overseas region through study tours and to create opportunities for staffs / students from Universities to learn best practices and to share experience with others in the region from their peers.
PS1.7 Project completion and publishing the work related to Aerospace technologies in reputed international journals in allied sciences.
EA1.1 Improved organization of research systems and user-producer relationships, resulting in quality, timely and relevant data on the Organizational, National Development Goals.
EA2.1 Adoption of international aerospace technology methods and standards for knowledge management in relation to the Organizational Development Goals and internationally agreed development goals in the target countries.
Indicators of achievement:
IA1.1 Increased volume of official design data for tracking progress towards the Organizational Development Goals and internationally agreed development goals used by design offices, the academia, the researchers and the media.
IA1.2 Increased number of national / international design offices using common aerospace technology definitions and methodologies.
IA1.3 Increased number of national / international design offices providing indicators of improved quality for policy-oriented research and analysis.
IA1.4 Increased number of national / international reorganization followed by number of paper publish in allied aerospace sciences. Increased number of university ranking in NIRF, QS and Times Higher Education National / International Rankings, as per new ranking policy, research activity is contributing major percentage to overall ranking criteria.
